INNCOM Partners with LUX Art & Design to Debut
‘Fine Art in Motion’
Creating an Atmosphere of Extraordinary Hospitality

June 21, 2007

Patent-pending, joint technical development anticipates a guest’s moods, needs or events by displaying vivid fine-art imagery and relaxing background music in the guestroom;

Niantic, CT – June 21, 2007—INNCOM international, inc. announced today a joint technical development with LUX Art & Design to advance the LUX-HDA true High-Definition “fine art in motion” patent-pending product. The joint effort is designed to propel the guest to the highest level of extraordinary hospitality.

By combining INNCOM and LUX ART technology, guests will experience an intelligent guestroom interaction that can anticipate a guest’s moods, needs, or even events through the use of intelligent integrated guestroom control, vivid fine art imagery and relaxing background music.

The new technology will be displayed at Guestroom 2010 at the Hospitality Industry Technology Exhibition and Conference (HITEC), from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27, and 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 28, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Imagine arriving in your guestroom and being welcomed to an environment that anticipates your needs or perhaps relates to your mood or even reacts to an event. For example, a weary business traveler arriving late in the evening can enter his or her guestroom where intelligent INNCOM controls have set the proper lighting level, closed the drapes, adjusted the temperature and turned on vivid, High-Definition imagery provided by LUX-ART. The wall is now painted with images of relaxing media (oils, watercolors, acrylics and prints) using HD video effects, creating subtly-evolving artworks that project a relaxing evening environment.

Or perhaps the guest would like to welcome visitors to his or her suite for evening cocktails, and would like the guestroom environment to reflect a lively entertainment mood for the evening. Through a simple touch of the INNCOM Guestroom Digital Assistant (GDA-700™), the guest can transform his or her room profile into a lively evening environment tuned for just such an occasion by automatically adjusting light levels, temperature and the beautiful LUX-ART High-Definition imagery and music to suit the environment.

The options are endless for the interior designer. The property may define any number of moods based on time of day, property location or season. INNCOM offers a wide variety of Designer and Decorator series products designed with the flexibility and options to provide the interior designer with end-less combinations for guestroom design, while LUX-ART specializes in tailoring fine-art content to bring the guestroom experience to the highest level.

How does it work?

INNCOM provides the programmable intelligent guestroom controls and sensory equipment, along with back-end communications equipment that provides the hotel with a fully integrated system allowing in-room and remote control of all the guestroom sub-systems. In combination with the innovative LUX-HDA mirage System that magically transforms a glass wall (a switchable LCD panel by Polytronix) or HD display into an evolving piece of tasteful artwork, the technology provides the guest with an experience like never before in the hotel environment.

The INNCOM / LUX-HDA mirage™ interface, including LUX ART’s partners in technology such as Polytronix’s “Polyvision” privacy glass panel displaying the HD artwork content provided by the new FrEND Plus MS9500 HD Player by Electrosonic Systems along with some of the top players in the electronics industry to create this new art medium.
