INNCOM Joins with HTNG to Promote Open Technology Standards
July 18, 2004
INNCOM International, global leaders in integrated guestroom control systems, announces its charter membership in Hotel Technology-Next Generation (HTNG), a non-profit organization that promotes hotel industry systems integration worldwide.
HTNG was founded with the goal of bringing hospitality technology vendors and suppliers together with hoteliers, industry consultants, and academia to create customer-centric technology solutions, improve technology financing options, and eliminate industry-wide reluctance to embrace new technology.
As a long-time supporter of open technology standards, INNCOM was one of the first companies to endorse HTNG and its goals when the organization was founded in 2002. INNCOM has developed a neutral platform to ensure interoperability with technology created by all industry vendors and suppliers, according to Philipp Roosli, INNCOM Chief Technology Officer.
"Whether it's a wireless or hard-wired application, we are interested in working with others to develop flexible, cost-effective technology solutions that enhance the guest experience," Roosli said.
Other HTNG members include many INNCOM hospitality technology partners such as Springer-Miller Systems, Hyatt Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, MGM Mirage, Wyndham International, Microsoft, Paradyne, and Timelox.
