Energy is the lodging industry's second-greatest operating cost, with the biggest energy hogs being heating, cooling and lighting. INNCOM energy management solutions range from low-cost, standalone products to advanced, centrally-controlled systems that can include lighting and drape controls, as well as situation alerts and property data collecting and reporting.
In a simple, standalone system, the INNCOM e4™ Smart Digital Thermostat with occupancy detection accurately determines when to switch to energy-saving setbacks - and when to switch back. However, only minimum installation is required to link our Smart Digital Thermostats - and other in-room devices - to a central computer for maximum energy conservation. A comprehensive INNCOM energy management system (EMS) has deeper setbacks for rooms that are unrented, as opposed to just unoccupied, and will typically reduce heating and cooling run times by 20 - 30%.

e4™ Smart Digital Thermostat
Our family of e4™ Smart Digital Thermostats is designed for energy conservation and guest comfort using programmable, precise, direct digital control (DDC) technology. The illuminated LCD thermostat can control virtually any commercial fan coil unit, packaged terminal air conditioner or heat pump and be configured as either a stand-alone device or as part of a powerful, centrally-controlled energy management system. Available in wired, battery-operated, compact, and Designer™ models, the e4 Smart Digital Thermostat is quick and inexpensive to install, reduces energy costs, and contributes to guest satisfaction.
If you wish to upgrade your property from old-fashioned mercury or other inefficient analog thermostats to DDC technology, the e4 Smart Digital Thermostat - E529 is the answer. Our e4 model E529 is battery-powered, so thermostats are quickly and easily swapped out without the need for rewiring, minimizing any disruption to guests and hotel operations. And because the E529's four easy-to-replace AA batteries typically last at least two years, wireless means worry-free, too.
ecoMODE®
One of INNCOM's most exciting products is environmentally-friendly, award-winning, patented ecoMODE®. Guests simply press the Green Button on the INNCOM thermostat or control device to opt into the hotel's conservation program. In addition to instantly triggering the e4's energy-saving mode, the Green Button can also serve to activate the guest's participation in the property's sustainability programs, which may include, for example, reduced linen changes and bath amenity replacements. ecoMODE® is available on all models of the e4 Smart Digital Thermostat, as well as other INNCOM Integrated Room Automation System (IRAS) devices, such as the Wireless Digital Assistant, tabletop controllers and all lighting controls series.
Occupancy-Based Master Lighting Control
The INNCOM Master Light Switch automatically turns off lighting in un-occupied rooms without ever inconveniencing the guest. When the guest enters the room, the Master Light Switch illuminates a welcome lighting scene; when the guest leaves, all lights turn off. Using smart INNCOM switches and Lamp Control Modules, lighting can be custom programmed to suit your room design. Additionally, the system is engineered to ensure that light fixtures will work when an occupant wants them to work, regardless of whether the master switch is in the on or off position.
