INNCOM understands that guestroom lighting control is not just about being able to turn lights on and off. Lighting control encompasses everything from basic energy savings to creating a memorable guest experience.
INNCOM's environmentally-friendly lighting systems comply with energy-conservation building codes and can include an all "On/Off" Master Light Switch to ensure that lights are always off in unoccupied rooms.
Our lighting controls provide comfort, safety, and convenience, too. Automatic nightlights and entry welcome lights guide and assure guests in an otherwise darkened room, while multi-point control makes it easy for guests to adjust lighting from virtually anywhere in the guestroom.
From a design standpoint, INNCOM gives you tools to create both the visual interface (custom wall-mounted panels, tabletop touchscreens) and the lighting experience (focused task lighting, ambient mood lighting).
INNCOM will also work with you to adapt your custom system to meet your unique (ADA, hotel flag mandates, IECC, etc.) requirements.
INNCOM's selection of lighting control devices includes:
The Glass Series, Designer Series and S-Series are customizable to any décor and control configuration. Based on designer specifications, they can control lighting and temperature, display privacy/make-up-room requests, and integrate seamlessly with INNCOM energy management and other guestroom control solutions. Made of recyclable glass, the Glass Series provides a "blank canvas" on which designers can create any look in any color scheme. Designer Series panels are available in a variety of custom finishes, while S-Series panels are simply fitted with Decora-style plates.
The S-Series Switch - Nightlight is most commonly used in bathrooms to provide a low-level light source for guest convenience and safety. It can also be used in other areas of the guestroom to provide pleasant, soft illumination for guests who prefer low-level lighting. The Nightlight has two buttons, allowing independent control of the main room light and the integrated nightlight.
The GDA-700™ Guestroom Digital Assistant, Wireless Digital Assistant and Tabletop Controller - 3056 are tabletop consoles that allow multi-point control of guestroom lights and other in-room components. They offer configurable functionality, permitting a tailored light map for each unique guestroom as specified by the hotel, as well as the ability to control climate, drapes, and other devices. The Wireless Digital Assistant boasts nearly the same functionality as the GDA-700, housed in a sleek, portable device.
Upgrade your standard, hard-wired, line-voltage light switch with a dimmable S-Series Switch - S217. This "smart device" can provide additional functionality, including automatic lighting upon entry into the guestroom, a communication gateway for Central Electronic Lock Control, and in-room communication with other INNCOM components.
The INNCOM Master Light Switch complies with IECC and NEC codes requiring a guestroom master on/off switch. A simple-to-implement energy-saver, the Master Light Switch automatically turns off lighting in un-occupied rooms without ever inconveniencing the guest. When the guest enters the room, the Master Light Switch illuminates a welcome lighting scene; when the guest leaves, all lights turn off. Using smart INNCOM switches and Lamp Control Modules, lighting can be custom programmed to suit your room design. Additionally, the system is engineered to ensure that light fixtures will work when an occupant wants them to work, regardless of whether the master switch is in the on or off position.
INNCOM Lamp Control Modules are designed to convert standard lamps into wirelessly controllable lamps. The modules are easily installed and can communicate wirelessly with other INNCOM products, including the e4™ Smart Digital Thermostat.
